THE NETHERLANDS:

• Our National Pride:
  The SURGE BARRIER (The Netherlands) - Part of the world's largest concrete construction, the DELTA-plan. GERO-HYDRO-SEAL and GERO-PRO-SEAL were used to protect the service areas from algea and fungus growth, freeze and thaw damage.
  
  
  
  
• SHELL Pernis (Rotterdam - The Netherlands) - Already the largest oil refinery area in the world and part of the largest harbor in the world, now the largest oil refinery in the world was officially opened in August 1997. Built by a consortium (PER+) with a.o. Ballast Nedam, Torkret and Fluor Daniel this was a 2 Billion US $ project !
  After the concrete foundations and workfloors suffered heavy freeze and thaw damage during the first winter, with the construcion of the refinery still on its way, GERO-HYDRO-SEAL and GERO-PRO-SEAL were selected for the quality of their performance as well as the permanent nature thereof, being maintenance free and providing a number of unique extra's, like the chemical resistance against oil and oil components, penetration of liquids (Water, Oil, Chemicals, Acids), penetrations of gasses (CO2, SO2 etc.), prevention of algae and fungus growth etc.
